On Saturday, December 14, there will be a live nativity scene and other holiday performances at the Valley Mall from 1:00 - 3:00 PM. Students who attend for 20 minutes or more (and who make themselves known to Mrs. Marquiss) are excused from their Friday's homework. The program times are listed below:
Please come out and support our children at these two events. Thursday, December 12, is the cut-off date for the donation drive. Please feel free to donate anything, but toiletries are especially needed. School will close at 3:30 PM on December 19, and reopen on January 6, 2020. We wish everyone a happy and safe holiday season.

We've finally arrived at the last day of school for 2018-19. Please note the following:
This past Thursday, we had a very exciting science day. Volvo Group, which has a local Hagerstown site, sponsored a girls' science day at our local Discovery Station for grades 1st - 8th to encourage interest in science and technology. Volvo group team members organized the activities and made sure everyone had a team member. The youngest girls built cardboard cannons, 3rd and 4th graders made disk launchers, 5th and 6th graders made ballistas, and 7th and 8th graders made a circuit based radio. After these projects were complete, the students had time to explore the exhibits and enjoy the Discovery Station.
See our photo gallery for many exciting photos from this event. We would like to extend our thanks to the Volvo Group for sponsoring this day and the Discovery Station for hosting this wonderful event. The students enjoyed the experience and came away with an excitement for science and technology. While the girls had fun at the Discovery Station, the boys from grades 3 - 8 were busy making robots. Mr. Molder helped the boys assemble their robots and everyone enjoyed the finished product. Check out our gallery for photos of this class experience!
TCA high school students enjoyed a fun day at Escape This! What a great way to learn how to work as a team. We love taking our students on fun field trips and everyone had a great time.
Attention Parents and Friends of TCA, please take note of the following events:
We now have a donation page on our website and we are currently raising funds for our 2019/20 school year. The money raised will help us keep tuition rates affordable. TCA currently offers rates that are 60% lower than the average of other private schools in the area and we are able to do so with generous support from our friends, family and sponsors. We prefer to keep rates as low as possible so that we can reach families of every income level. All support given goes directly to TCA operating costs and helps us provide a Christian education to many families who might otherwise have limited choices. We are a non-profit organization and will provide a year end tax receipt. Every dollar helps and we thank you for your support. We also happily accept donations of equipment, supplies, books, etc.
